Tip
If HDR doesn't activate properly when launching Battlefield 6 on Windows 11, there's a simple workaround using a hidden keyboard shortcut.
You can toggle HDR on or off using this shortcut:
Windows Key + Alt + B
This shortcut works globally and instantly switches HDR mode without needing to dive into system settings. However it is necessary to do it in the following order

How to Enable HDR in Battlefield 6 on Windows 11 (Order is important)

  1. Before launching the game, press
    Windows + Alt + B
    → This temporarily disables HDR.
  2. Start Battlefield 6 and wait until you're fully in the game/menu.
  3. Once you're in-game, press
    Windows + Alt + B again
    → This enables HDR.

Additional Info

  • BF6 HDR will remain active as long as you don't close the game or press the shortcut again.
  • This trick only works if HDR is already enabled in Windows Display Settings.
This workaround helps when Battlefield 6 fails to enable HDR properly on startup. By toggling HDR after entering the game, the system forces it back on.
