Change the default Control Schema
In the current Battlefield 2042 Open Beta, helicopter pilots are confronted with a different control schema on consoles than in previous installments of the franchise. Luckily, the developers added a option to switch to the original control schema.
Go into the following menu:
Options > Controller > Aircraft</pre>and then change
Helicopter Pilot Sticks</pre>to
Southpaw</pre>Like this
This results in the following Schema:
Left Stick Up: Accelerate Left Stick Down: Decelerate Left Stick Left: Rotate Left Left Stick Right: Rotate Right Right Stick Up: Tilt down (on inverted) Right Stick Down: Tilt up (on inverted) Right Stick Left: Roll Left Right Stick Right: Roll Right
