I had no real experience with sports photography before. My first experience where with SG Regensburg Damen 1. Later they also asked me to photograph their home game against Amberg, which made me really happy.
It gave me a lot of respect for professional sports photographers. The game is fast, everything changes in a second and it is not easy to be in the right place at the right time.
Of course I decided to use my 85mm f1.4 on full frame, because I really love that look. It was not the most practical choice and I also got hit by a few balls, but I still like some of the photos a lot.
Seeing that the players also enjoyed the photos makes me even happier and a bit proud.
